Why hire a car at Kerry Airport?
Kerry is said to be the most visited Irish region by overseas visitors and it is easy to understand why. The South west coast has some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland. The three Atlantic peninsulas of Dingle, Beara and Iveragh along with the Ring of Kerry are major attractions for those interested in walks, sports or wildlife.
The Dingle peninsula has been used as a film location many times including for one of the Star Wars films. It reaches 30 miles into the Atlantic and is a destination for horse riding, cycling, golf and hiking.
Killarney offers Ireland's oldest National Park with its three glacial lakes - the largest of which is Lough Leane - and County Kerry is also home to Ireland's highest mountains as well as the longest walking trails such as the Kerry Way.
And when you have had your fill of exploring and have put the car keys away, there is a warm welcome to be had in any of the many inns and Irish taverns!
