Zadar is a city on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. It has a history which dates back to medieval and Roman times. The People's Square in the city centre is a focal point with much to draw you in. There is an outdoor museum, the clock tower as well as a church which was built in the 11th century. Or just stop here for a cup of coffee and a chance to soak up the atmosphere.
Zadar airport has great access to other parts of the country. It is just over a mile from highway A1 which can take you to Zagreb, Split or Dubrovnik. Split is just an hour and a half away by car.

There is a rental car areas with offices outside the terminal. As you exit the building turn right and follow the path to the corner of the terminal and it is across the road before the taxi rank.
