Established in 1862 as the City of Glasgow Friendly Society, the name Scottish Friendly Assurance was adopted in 1992, following the transfer of business from a Scottish-based mutual society.
They are split into three arms
Scottish Friendly Assurance Society Limited who market and maintain a range of life, savings and investment products.
Scottish Friendly Asset Managers Limited - who offer a range of investment products including Junior ISAs, ISAs and OEICs (Open-ended investment companies) providing investors access to expert fund managers.
Scottish Friendly Insurance Services Limited - who provides support and specialist insurance products to other financial service organisations.
They have assets worth more than £5.3 billion under management and have over 745,000 members (correct as at 29th April 2021)
