Additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement when you collect the van.
They must be present, meet any age restrictions and have a full valid driving licence for the van in question. It is the hire van company's decision as to whether they allow extra drivers or not. We strongly suggest reading the terms and conditions of your rental agreement as they often state whether additional drivers are permitted or not.
