We are now into autumn and soon the leaves will develop their wonderful rich colours. There are less than 100 days until Christmas (sorry for mentioning it) but, as the season gets under way in earnest, many people will be spending lots of time in their kitchens preparing their homes for the festive fun. An appliance breaking down is never welcome but even less so when you are feeling under pressure. Kitchen appliance insurance can relieve the stress of finding out your freezer or your cooker is no longer working.
With the weather turning less predictable, washing is no longer able to dry on the line outside so tumble dryers will be dusted off ready. Those who like to make and freeze ahead will be stacking up their freezers with home-cooked produce. You may be using your machine to wash summer bedding that will be put away for the spring. Our appliances work to make our lives run more smoothly and give us more time to make the most of the more enjoyable parts of life. When one no longer functions properly it can really throw a spanner in the works particularly during the run up to Christmas.
Kitchen Insurance can include several appliances under one cover making it easier when it comes to renewing and also giving you less documents to keep track of. There are policies for appliances that are located just within the kitchen, or to also include home entertainment and electrical items.Kitchen appliances are not normally covered under your home insurance if they stop working.
If, however, you would rather insure an appliance individually, this is also possible. You may have purchased a new range cooker or an American style fridge freezer for example which can be very costly to replace or repair. We can offer policies for dishwashers, cookers, fridges, freezers and many other items.
When an appliance develops a fault, you want to get it replaced or mended as soon as possible. The turkey needs to go in on Christmas Day or you could have some very disappointed guests! With appliance insurance you can insure for parts, labour and call out fees, and accidental damage is also covered. Dishwasher insurance can mean that, should your dishwasher break down in the next couple of months, you will be able to replace it or get it working again in time for Christmas. No need to ask the relatives to pick up a tea towel!
