An International Driving Permit is not normally required as UK driving licences are valid for 90 days in Trinidad and Tobago but do check with your car hire company just in case.

Car hire is strongly dominated by the American market, so most cars are automatics and insurances may be included, or can be optional depending on the broker or supplier chosen. Collision damage and theft waivers are typically available locally from $20 per day.
