Cars are usually rented on limited mileage terms - typically 100km / day so if you intend to cover long distances you should check what the charge would be for additional kilometres.

Collision damage waiver and third party insurance is normally included within the rental terms but there will be an excess. Purchasing a car hire excess insurance policy beforehand can protect you from this and charges for damage to tyres, windows and underside of the vehicle.
