Car hire can help you get the most out of your stay in Mayotte

As a French Overseas Department your UK driving licence should be acceptable in Mayotte with the usual stipulations that you have held a licence for long enough and don't have more than the acceptable amount of penalties or endorsements.

Most car hire via our site on the main island comes with full insurances though you may wish to protect your excess (typically around €600) with car hire excess insurance. These policies will also provide cover for items commonly excluded from collision damage waivers like windscreen, tyres and the underside of the car.
