You can drive in Jamaica for up to 6 months on a UK driving licence so an international driving permit is not normally required.

Do check the Foreign & Commonwealth Office travel advice for specific areas to avoid to stay safe and for general advie about travelling in Jamaica.

Car hire through the MoneyMaxim will normally include Collision Damage and Theft Waivers and Third Party insurance. You can find some cars with zero excesses but US $750 is more typical on a small family car. Any damage to tyres, glass and the underside of the car will be excluded even if you have a zero excess rental agreement.
