Ireland is a country of great natural beauty with a very interesting history and it's easy to see why car hire is so popular in Ireland. The island is the home to three World Heritage Sites; Skellig Michael, the Giant's Causeway, and Bru na Boinne. On top of these there are many castles, abbeys and caves to keep the whole family entertained for the duration of the trip.
Whilst Ireland has a number of motorways and dual carriageways, the majority of roads are small, slower country roads. These roads allow visitors to explore and see all that Ireland has to offer, including bridges, cathedrals and cities. By renting a car in Ireland there is the freedom to be able to explore the whole country at leisure and choose which destinations you wish to visit.
There are both city attractions and rural destinations within Ireland meaning it's the perfect place for city goers and those wanting a country retreat. Landmarks in the biggest city, Dublin, include libraries, museums, gardens and breweries, making Ireland the perfect place for all the family to visit.
