The recently launched Currensea card is a gamechanger for overseas travel. No need to transfer money around when you spend this simple card offering big savings & works directly with a bank account

A totally new way to pay, the Currensea debit card is not only cheaper to use than Monzo, Starling, Caxton and Fairfx, but is currently offers £10 back when you spend £150 abroad*

The Currensea debit card is really clever. In the same way that TransferWise (Now just called Wise) transformed international payments the recently launched Currensea card is doing the same for card payments abroad.

Quite simply when you use the Currensea debit card abroad your normal day to day current account is charged. Currensea will handle the payment, calculate the exchange rate at market rates and add a modest 0.5% fee to the transaction before charging your bank account, but this adds up to considerable savings - especially when compared to high street banks.

What's more they are currently offering a £10 bonus when a new user has withdrawn £150 or more from a ATM abroad - a great incentive to order a card and try it out.

Apply for a Currensea Card today and you could be getting effectively £2000 of fee free exchanges.

Do use this link to ensure you qualify for this promotion - do not sign on using the app until after you have applied for the card as this will invalidate the offer.

Withdrawals of up to £500 per month are free of any ATM withdrawal fees, however a fee of 2% is charged if you withdraw more. Be aware though that some ATM providers abroad may charge their own transaction fees.

The 0.5% charge compares really well against other companies in the market, from Monzo, to Sterling and all the high street banks, and can either be used as your prime payment card, or as a back up in case your normal card id is blocked, damaged, lost or stolen while you are away - it could deliver great peace of mind in that respect as well.
